According to National Treasury News, recipients of these grants will get the following amounts:

  • The disability grant will increase to R2080 on April 1, 2023, and then to R2090 on October 1, 2023.
  • On April 1, 2023, the child support grant will increase to R500. Then, it will increase to R510 on October 1, 2023.
  • Those 60-74 years old will receive R2080 on 1 April 2023. It will increase to R2090 on October 1, 2023.
  • The recipients over 75 years old will receive R2100 on April 1, 2023. Then, it will increase to R2110 on October 1, 2023.
  • The care dependency grant was expected to increase to R2080 on April 1, 2023. Then, it will increase to R2090 on October 1, 2023.
  • The in-Aid grant will increase to R500 on 1 April 2023. Then, it will rise to R510 on 1 October 2023.
